Guidelines for Speakers
-

-
Submission of an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the presenting author(s) to present the work in person at the 31st WONCA Europe Conference 2027 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
-
The submitter acts on behalf of all co-authors and accepts responsibility for the present rules for submission and presentation.
-
Any costs of presenting, including conference registration, travel and accommodation, are the responsibility of the presenter, except where a WONCA bursary has been awarded.
-
Please ensure that your choice of speakers takes into account the principles of equality, diversity and inclusivity.
Note: Only accepted submissions of fully registered presenters can be included in the final conference programme.

-
Submissions must follow the requirements specified in the online abstract submission system.
-
Submissions should be text only. Do not include diagrams, illustrations, tables or graphics unless specifically permitted in the submission system.
-
All submissions should follow the conference submission template:
-
Title: Make the title of the abstract brief and ensure that it clearly indicates the nature of the abstract proposal or research area. The maximum length of the title is 20 words.
-
Capitalise only the first word of the title and any proper nouns or abbreviations.
-
Do not capitalise every word.
-
Do not use block capitals, except for abbreviations.
-

-
Double-check spelling and grammar. It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure that the submitted text does not contain typographical or grammatical errors.
Programme Scheduling
Accepted submissions will be scheduled together with other thematically related submissions whenever possible. By submitting an abstract, presenters agree to be available for the duration of the conference. Any time constraints relating to the presentation date or time should be brought to the attention of the Conference Organiser during the abstract submission process.
Due to the large number of presentations included in the programme, requests to alter allocated time slots cannot be guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis with respect to their impact on the overall programme and other presenters.
The Conference Organiser reserves the right to change presentation dates and times if necessary. In such cases, every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative presentation slot.
The Conference Organiser will not be held responsible for submission errors caused by internet service outages, hardware or software delays, power outages or unforeseen events.
