The Conference venue area spans across over 21 000 m2 and offers 23 multifunctional halls, 2500 parking spots in close proximity, and is well situated amidst a number of hotels and in a short distance to the city centre.
The main entrance to the Conference venue is located at Dunajska cesta 18, Ljubljana, and directly in front of it is a bus stop Razstavišče. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and equipped with ramps.
Slovenia uses Type F and Type C (2-pin with round prongs) power plugs and sockets by default.
The standard voltage is 230 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.
The official currency of Slovenia is the Euro (EUR, symbol: € ). Each Euro is divided into 100 cents.
Credit and debit cards (primarily Visa and Mastercard) are accepted in most places in the cities. Some small businesses, especially in more rural areas or for small purchases, may accept only cash.
Money exchange places – You can change money at the banks, exchange offices, and the airport. The airport exchange rate will probably be higher than most.
Slovenia’s official language is Slovenian, but most people can speak English as well. You might have trouble understanding Slovenian even if you speak the language, as Slovenia has more than 50 dialects.

The organizers can accept no liability for personal injuries or for loss or damage to property belonging to the workshop participants, either during or as a result of the event. Participants are advised to have adequate travel and health insurance before departing from their home country.
The official language of the event is English. Translation services will not be provided.
Smoking is prohibited at the event venue.
Opening times for shops may vary.
Most stores are open Mon – Fri from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Most stores are closed on Sundays.
Slovenia uses the Central European Time Zone (CET) during the winter, which is UTC+1. During the summer, daylight saving time applies (Central European Summer Time, CEST), which is UTC+2.
Tipping in Slovenia is not mandatory nor expected, but rounding up the bill or tipping around 10 % for good service in restaurants, bars and cafes is appreciated.
